![]() I hope they learn a very hard lesson when these people walk out. I fucking guarantee you Jen Psaki thinks air traffic controllers are the rampers on the tarmac with orange wands. A 20 year airline captain makes $50-$60k more a year than a member of Congress. They don’t see them happen therefore they don’t exist to this liberal arts elitist snobs. They literally have no idea what these jobs entail. I honestly think they consider these highly specialized fields to just be shitty blue collar jobs. There is no one else in the wings just ready to jump into this positions.Īnd I’ll add that I genuinely don’t believe anyone in this administration is aware of this. ![]() You don’t just go from flying a C-130 to a B767 or any other commercial airliner. Military does often go civilian and become airline pilots or ATCs but they basically start at the same point anyone else does in training. If LAX tower walks out and demands vaccine mandates be scrapped, there is quite literally no one to replace them with for effectively 2 years at best. Let’s put it this way: these are NOT positions they can call up the military to fill. I see some Union busting happening in the future. Also I’m related to an American Airlines pilot who says it’s their union demanding vaccines, not the airline themselves. There is quite literally nothing the government can do and airlines absolutely will throw the government under the bus when this happens and I can’t wait. So yes, prepare for a walkout and prepare for a policy carve out WRT vaccine mandates under FAA subsidiaries. If there are no ATCs, even private jets are grounded and the elite won’t stand for that. The employees of these places ultimately do own the government in this. You sit in a place like Casper Wyoming or Fargo ND for 5 years before then going to a slightly bigger airport and then maybe 15-20 years into your career if you’re really fucking good, you get a place like LAX tower or NY center or JFK tower. You don’t just graduate initial ATC school in Oklahoma City & then get position at a place like JFK or LAX. Don’t even get me started on how long it takes to process and properly train air traffic controllers. It’s a years long process of accruing flight hours and months long type rating and simulator hours. Pilots don’t just get trained up for flying in the majors overnight. I’m flying on the 21st just before it hits the fan. If airlines call it "bad weather" I think they do not have to REFUND THE MONEY!!! Planes, Trains, and Automobiles would be an excellent film to have on your phone or tablet for such an eventĪlso this from another thread on the subject: If you’re flying for that holiday, you may well spend Thanksgiving stranded at an airport. I’ve also been hearing rumors of a Thanksgiving Eve mass walkout by thousands of pilots and ATC personal across America Your health and bodily integrity are paramountĢ) The MSM is a wholly owned subsidiary of the intel services, corporations and the government. Two points here:ġ) Do not comply with the “vaccine” or any mandate. Pretty “severe”, yes? The mass walkout is the reason - and the only reason for the chaos. Military training doesn’t shut down commercial airports unexpectedly and claiming same is ludicrous and here is Friday’s weather for Jacksonville The lying, government mouthpiece snake media reported the cancellations due toĭue to a combination of severe weather, active military training in the airspace, and unexpected limited staff at the Jacksonville facility that handles high-altitude, en route traffic, the FAA took steps to safely manage air traffic the evening of Oct. The cause or exact number of the absences has not been reported.Air Traffic Control in Jacksonville walked off the job en mass Friday causing massive flight cancellations up and down the coast The National Air Traffic Controllers Association's (NATCA) President Paul Rinaldi issued a statement on Friday saying the union does not endorse coordinated absences. Six out of 13 controllers scheduled to work in the DC area center called out today, aviation officials told ABC News. The most critical staffing shortage is the Washington shortage, which affects New York airspace in terms of incoming and outgoing flights, the spokesperson said, adding that the Newark International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport and Tampa International Airport were also experiencing delays. The current slowdown in the airspace over Florida and New York is due to staffing shortages in Washington and Jacksonville, an FAA spokesperson told ABC News. A ground stop at LaGuardia Airport and widespread flight delays in New York and Florida airports Friday were due to air traffic controller absences, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
